The Wright's way to run!

On Saturday 2nd June 2018, Stuart Wright and his youngest son, Harrison Wright both took part in the Poole - Festival of running. Stuart ran the 10k and completed this race in an impressive 54minutes whilst Harrison stormed through the ‘minithons’ which is a 1 mile race for boys and girls aged 6-14years old.

The festival of running is Poole’s premier competitive running event with runners of all abilities from across the Country competing with the Nation’s best athletes. Now in its 36th year, the Poole Festival of Running is probably Poole’s oldest 10k race. It featured top international runners, Local Club Runners and many charity runners.

Poole Hospital Charity was the nominated charity for Poole Festival of Running 2018. Competitors were asked to raise money for innovative cancer diagnostic and treatment equipment.
