Prestigious industry award recognises Metis Homes as one of the UK’s best housebuilders
We were delighted to win a top award – Best Small Housebuilder (Silver) – at the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday 18th November.
Widely recognised as the Oscars of the national housebuilding industry, the WhatHouse? Awards recognise the very highest standards of housebuilding across the UK.
William Hague, Baron Hague of Richmond and former Foreign Secretary, presented the award to Managing Director Adam O’Brien in front of more than 1,700 industry professionals, the largest ever audience.
The judges praised Metis Homes’ achievements, saying: “There is real detail in its homes, as well as design innovation and a robust commitment to customer service. Metis Homes’ suppliers talk with one voice of the company’s professionalism and collaborative approach to delivering a diverse product range with health and safety front and centre.”
Adam O’Brien commented: “This is the first time that Metis has entered the WhatHouse? Awards and we are very proud that a judging panel of industry experts and peers has recognised the substantial progress we have made as a business in a relatively short period of time. It is a huge endorsement of the values that are important to our business.
“This award is testament to the quality of homes we produce and is a ringing endorsement of the professionalism of the entire Metis team and our parent company, the RO Group, together with the wider network of partners, suppliers and contractors with whom we work. I would like to thank them all for their continued support and contribution to our success.”
