The Metis team are proud to report that a planning application has been submitted for 74 new homes with associated access, parking, landscaping and open space at Burgate Acres, to the northern edge of Fordingbridge.
Our team successfully promoted the land through the emerging New Forest District Local Plan, resulting in its allocation to help meet the housing needs of the district over the forthcoming plan period. The planning application is the product of an extensive consultation exercise involving officers at NFDC, the local community and all key local stakeholders.
The proposed development retains the existing mature landscape setting, within which the new homes will be delivered with associated open space, alternative natural greenspace and a new access arrangement which also incorporates improvements to the access for the adjacent Burgate School.
