Furry friends and their owners were invited along to a ribbon cutting ceremony, opened by dog lover and representative of the Fordingbridge Rotary Club, Andy Brooks.
Leonard the Labrador, Honey the Greyhound, Lottie and Bonnie both Cavachons, and Rolo the Spaniel, had an absolute ball and gave the course its first test run, each tackling the range of obstacles.
The purpose-designed and fully enclosed Dog Agility Course is open to Forest Edge residents and is accessible via a public footpath to the local community. It sits within the grounds of the nearly sold-out new homes development and boasts an abundance of greenery and natural planting throughout.
