Hampshire-based Metis Homes has made several key hires across various departments as the successful housebuilder is going from strength to strength.
The new team members will be based at Metis’ headquarters located in Fair Oak, Hampshire, as well as on site in and around Hampshire and West Sussex, all bringing valuable expertise to the award-winning housebuilder.
The new hires bolster the already strong team, and include James Nicholson as Senior Buyer, Wayne Smith as Senior Technical Coordinator and Adrian Collins as Customer Services Engineer.
Adam O’Brien, Managing Director of Metis Homes, said: “We are thrilled to welcome these key people to the Metis team. They bring significant experience and knowledge, and will support our strategic house building programme, adding efficiency, further technical prowess and, vitally, further investment in our customers’ journeys. We celebrated our 17th anniversary this year, and these hires mark a pivotal moment for the business as we expand our operations.”
Wayne Smith has nearly 30 years of experience, working in consultancy roles within civil and structural engineering design. More recently, Wayne has worked for large national house builders on all technical aspects of developments.
James Nicholson started out in a construction role before branching into surveying. With 20 years in the industry, including the last 10 as a buyer, James has a background in construction and surveying, ensuring the financial viability and timely delivery of housing developments.
Adrian Collins has over the last 25 years specialised in building, maintenance, and repairs on new builds, working with both large and medium-sized developers.
Metis Homes recently launched its latest housing developments in partnership with the Cowdray Estate, split across two sites in Easebourne, named The Easebourne Collection.
The two developments, Farriers Court and Royal Green, will see the creation of a collection of both contemporary and traditional energy efficient family houses and apartments. The homes will provide a rare opportunity to own a home in the idyllic and sought after village of Easebourne located in West Sussex.
