Burgate Acres - Latest Land Acquisition

We are delighted to announce that over the summer we have completed on our latest land acquisition in the New Forest. The site is in Burgate, just to the north of Fordingbridge, next to Burgate Secondary School.

The property acquired by us is called Burgate Acres and it is currently a large house and grounds of around 4.5 acres. As part of the land deal we provided the option for the previous owners to continue living in the house while they completed the purchase of their new home.

Burgate Acres adjoins another 3.5 acres of farmland we recently acquired to the North. The whole area to the north of Fordingbridge, including these two land parcels, sits in a Strategic Housing Site for delivering much needed housing for the area.

Together with other landowners we hope to deliver around 70 – 80 new homes as part of the overall allocation.
