Titan carting challenge!

On Friday 21st August we entered a 4 man team in The Titan Karting Challenge (a property karting challenge held for charity to raise funds in support of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust).

We pitted ourselves against some serious competition – and managed to last the course driving in two x two hour races at Thruxton Race Circuit outdoor carting.

There were lots of thrills and spills particularly with the wet weather coming in at the end of the day making for some slippery conditions on slick tyres.

In the end we think we came a respectable 10th out of about 24 teams that entered. Good going team!

Fun in Fordingbridge

Metis Homes were pleased to be able to support local business, Fordingbridge Daycare Nursery for their annual open day. We provided use of our most recent acquisition, land at Burgate Farm for pony rides, heavy horse and traction engine display. The children seemed to have had an enjoyable experience and as always we are very happy to accommodate the local community where possible.
