The wider team is proven at all levels of house building with complementary backgrounds from large quoted companies and major contractors to small private developers. This wealth of experience and team approach is critical to delivering exceptional homes.

We are backed by our parent company RO Group, and with access to their systems, research, contact base and ultimately the scale of their balance sheet places us in an advantageous position when competing with businesses of a similar size.

The RO Group is an entrepreneurial family company which has been in business for more than eighty years. Based upon the founding principle that the company is ‘in business to do business’ this simple but direct approach has seen the RO Group thrive over the years through investment in a diverse range of interests, which continues to this day.

Adam O’Brien

Managing Director

Adam co-founded Metis Homes in 2007 with Tony Burton, and has long played a pivotal role in the successful management and growth of the business.

He formerly worked at Linden Homes where, working alongside regional Chairman Tony Burton, he built a strong reputation for his skill in land buying.

Adam was appointed Managing Director of Metis Homes in April 2015 to drive the company forward and develop the Metis Homes brand. Back to introduction
Andrew Sinclair

Operations Director

Andrew has overall responsibility for the pre-construction, construction and after-sales activities at Metis Homes. He has extensive experience of property development across the south spanning some 30 years.

He joined Metis Homes in 2012 following a career leading landmark regeneration schemes, in partnership with local authorities, together with challenging new build as well as mixed use and conversion developments. Back to introduction
Rupert Price

Sales and Marketing Director

Rupert focuses on the sales and marketing of new homes and building the Metis Homes brand.

Bringing a wealth of experience, Rupert joined the Metis Homes board in 2013. In a 30-year career across the southern region, he has worked with high profile developers including the Raven Group, Swan Hill Homes, Barratt, Taylor Wimpey and Berkeley Homes. Back to introduction
Alistair Harris

Planning Director

Alistair Harris joins the business from WYG Consultants, where he held an executive role as Director in Planning for many years. Alistair brings with him over 15 years’ experience as a planning consultant with a diverse background in the industry and ample experience leading teams through the development planning process.

In his new role at Metis, Alistair will work with Managing Director, Adam O’Brien, in driving and overseeing all planning activity and seek to maintain Metis’ unblemished track record in the planning arena, ensuring a long lifespan for the brand as it continues to build high quality homes in key locations in the south of the country. David Oakley

Associate Sales Director

David works alongside the Sales and Marketing director, Rupert Price, with responsibility for sales and the customer journey.

He joined Metis Homes in 2010 with a wide knowledge of the property industry, from estate agency to land buying. Initially involved in land buying, his role has evolved to manage the process of guiding customers smoothly through the sales process. Back to introduction
Stuart Wright

Pre-Construction Manager

Stuart works alongside Operations Director, Andrew Sinclair, focusing on the delivery of our new schemes.

Mike Burton

Senior Land Manager

Mike Burton uses his vast knowledge and experience to advise the team on identifying, sourcing and acquiring land that is in accordance with the types of locations in which Metis Homes delivers its developments. With extensive experience, latterly with Churchill Retirement, Mike works alongside Phil Rosewarne and Adam O’Brien. Back to introduction
Carol Staniford

Customer Services Manager

Carol’s mission is to ensure that every Metis Homes customer enjoys the best possible service.

She joined the Metis Homes team in 2015, following 14 years in a similar role with Cala Homes. Always on hand to provide prompt, efficient and friendly support, Carol has an unerring eye for detail and is dedicated to making sure that our customers are delighted with their new homes. Farah Amin

Sales Executive

Farah joined Metis Homes in 2015 as part of the sales team and is responsible for an array of sales and marketing related tasks.

With former experience of working within a law firm focusing on the Housing sphere, Farah has a strong understanding of the Real Estate sector. Back to introduction
Jon Schofield

Construction Manager

Jon works alongside Operations Director, Andrew Sinclair, focusing on the delivery of our new schemes. He has over 25 years of experience in construction working for various main contractors and developers and has been involved in the construction of large scale residential and commercial developments as well as luxury retirement villages and care homes. Gillian Keets

Customer Services & Operations Coordinator

Gillian works alongside Customer Services Manager, Carol Staniford, in offering attentive and responsive after-sales care to all our customers.

She brings a wealth of parallel knowledge as she has worked within a customer service based environment with other major home building businesses. Back to introduction
Rachel Baldwin

Operations Coordinator

Rachel has over 10 years’ experience working within the construction industry having previously worked at Balfour Beatty. In her role at Metis Homes, Rachel works closely with both Andrew Sinclair and Stuart Wright to support them in the delivery of new and existing schemes. Back to introduction
Rachel Rosher

PA to Managing Director

Rachel is responsible for the smooth running of the office and supporting the Metis Homes team.

Having previously worked in admin roles for Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services department, and at HM Revenue & Customs, she brings strong skills and a fresh eye to the property business. Back to introduction
Dave Courtnage

Customer Services Co-ordinator

Dave offers practical support to our customers, to meet their needs and expectations related to their new home.

Having worked in the construction industry all his working life, including 18 years self-employed, Dave has a great deal of experience in every aspect of building and property management. Back to introduction
Tony Burton

Non-Executive Director

A co-founder of Metis Homes with Adam O’Brien, Tony has recently taken on a new significant role in the business as Non-Executive Director, advising the board strategically and remaining a key asset of land sourcing for the expanding Metis business.

Tony has more than 30 years experience in the industry, having previously been on the boards of both Linden and McAlpine Homes. Back to introduction
Richard Rowlandson

The RO Chairman

The RO Managing Director
