We have a great case study to follow about our joint venture with Waitrose in Guildford, which was a very complex deal that required informed commercial views to be taken along the way.
The combination of our management team’s big company experience allied to Metis Homes’ smaller company flexibility and attention to detail has helped us secure many deals and another great example is Catherine’s Walk, also in Guildford, a prime site within walking distance of the town centre and station. Testament to our dynamic approach to land buying and financial strength we were able to complete the purchase within three weeks of first viewing the site.
Similarly, in Poole we purchased an office building (Robert Rogers House) unconditionally to convert to residential, in an ambitious and exciting project that involved stripping the building back to its concrete frame, giving it a complete face lift externally and securing planning for the addition of two spectacular penthouses with harbour views.
We currently have seven sites in the pipeline, placing us in a strong position for future growth.
